Well, Deltik Psychology has been working tirelessly to devise the perfect cure for immaturity. We have made significant progress since our humble beginnings around 05 January 2009. Although we do not have a final universal cure yet, we’ve got useful tips on fighting immaturity, and they’re bound to work in many cases.

Here’s the big idea: IMMATURE PEOPLE DO NOT REALIZE THAT THEY’RE ACTING IMMATURE.
Here’s the solution: SOMEBODY NEEDS TO MAKE THE IMMATURE PERSON REALIZE THAT HE OR SHE IS IMMATURE.
PRINCIPLE 1: Think before you move.
The fundamental feature of immaturity is that it makes affected people move before they think. Let’s take the made-up case of Alice and Bob. Alice has immaturity. Bob suffers because Alice has immaturity.
Bob has several quirks—he picks on his injury scabs to prevent them from healing, he oftentimes randomly outbursts the fact that puppies are adorable, he has a habit of biting his nails, and there are many more unusual things that he does. Of course, nobody likes these blatant quirks, but most people know that it would be extremely rude to bring up the quirks to Bob. Alice has been rather good about keeping her mouth shut about Bob. She hates Bob because of his weird habits, yet she often associates and communicates with him. They are in some kind of frenemy relationship.
One day, Ms. Bob, Bob’s mother, wanted to boost Bob’s morale by sending out a mass email requesting for her friends to respond with thoughts or suggestions of what makes Bob special. Alice was on the mailing list.
Alice took this opportunity to try to rectify Bob. The email asked for ten items, but she listed twelve straight-forward suggestions. Among them were:
Without checking what she typed, she replied to the email. Shortly, Ms. Bob read what Alice wrote, and she was appalled.
She replied, “Alice! I’m sure you didn’t mean to sound so rude. The purpose of this assignment was to give Bob a hundred nice things that makes him unique.”
The next day, Alice checked her email and read what Ms. Bob had written. Not a sociopath, Alice immediately felt guilty that Bob’s mother had told her what she did wrong, so she immediately decided not to reply to her in shame. Still, Alice’s behavior didn’t change.
Alice does actions like this all the time. Why doesn’t she realize it and correct herself? In other words, why doesn’t she “grow up”? Well, one thing is that Alice doesn’t think that she is wrong, but other people know that she has had a long history of being wrong. Another thing is that she hasn’t really gotten in trouble yet. More importantly, she doesn’t see how much trouble that she could have caused or might cause in the future.
